] McAfee Site Advisor

Okay. I’m glad I checked up.
I found the site by accident while searching for Microsoft Gif Animator.

Couldn’t recall the site I originally downloaded the program from, and I’ve never had the chance to use the program myself. I should be more careful. As I said, glad I checked up, I’ll add a note to my earlier post. Thanks for input. Mark.

welcome

Instead, I would remove the link. why post link if you are not sure whether it is safe?.. (suggestion).

oh second thoughts on download site - hindsight is such a wonderful thing

I recall that Microsoft Gif Animator came with much recommendation.
But i could be wrong about that too. Perhaps some feedback there also?

I have never deleted a post as yet.

here is the link to MS gif animator : http://www.jhepple.com/gif_animator.htm

is that the one you are talking about?

Browser Defender 8)
McAfee Site Advisor is way out of date and even rates sites with known malware as good :o
WOT is OK but is heavily infuenced by user bias

[font=Segoe UI]I do not put much trust to McAfee Site Advisor either. I put more of the basis on user comments below McAfee’s.

No not that one. more recent and recommendation from this forum. I’ll run a search.

Edit - probably this one - direct download

edit: too bad I’ll skip it. Never wanted to have two AV, but at least give this panda cloud a try. May be another time. Sounds interesting though.
