Certainly didn’t bother me in the least and
since you aren’t using avast! it certainly isn’t anything that you would have seen.

If you don’t turn off messages from the Comodo message center you will also see ads for the paid version. It’s not unique to Avast.

Never knew these history facts until I found it in the “History of Iceberg Lettuce” that this lettuce has an American background.

How Crisphead lettuce became known as Iceberg lettuce

Bruce Church founder of Fresh Express, was responsible for popularizing the idea of shipping lettuce across the US continent from Salinas, California to the spots on the East coast. Using ice they carefully covered the heads of lettuce and shipped them

quote taken from: http://kitchenproject.com/history/Salads_Lettuce/IceburgLettuce.htm
But how did that lettuce got to California in the first place? Probably a Batavia type of lettuce that came from France.
Later American troops stationed in Europe could not go without their favorite “iceberg lettuce”, so they re-introduced it to Europe again.
That crispy salad had crossed the Atlantic twice!

Get a disposable email address
Great when you don’t want to get spammed.

For a truly disposable email address - I just use this one http://10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/index.html it does as it says on the tin, you get a disposable email address which is live for 10 minutes. This is handy if you have to respond/confirm the email address.

You can also extend the 10 minutes, if you are not ready to let it die (still waiting for the email) extend it for another ten minutes. I don’t know how many times you can extend it, but that isn’t really its purpose, most of the times I have used it I’m done and dusted within the 10 minutes. There have been a few occasions where I have extended it.

OT: I don’t give out my real email address  when I used Gmail it the same idea, so what the point of giving out you’re real email address from your internet provider when you can still used Gmail or Hotmail it the same thing if you don’t want to used your real email address…It bloody plain straight forward ‘Common Sense’ you don’t need these as post above from Bob and DavidR, spam doesn’t bother me in Gmail because Gmail take care of your spamming problem easy  ;D

The point is that gmail or other webmail emails still get traffic and not everything is guaranteed to be filtered out as spam. There are some emails that might not be considered spam, that may well be even worse.

The idea of these temporary email address is that they have a limited life and you never go back to visit them once used you discard. With a gmail or webmail account you have to create it, register/sign up, nothing required for these disposable email addresses.

Weird. :o ;D

The proverbial sledgehammer to crack a nut.

That “nut” has been cracked for a long time. ;D

I wonder if they used any of those highly priced hammers they bought a while back.

We recently held another event for the Kids of Meadow Lake:

The kids also did a great job at painting rocks which will be on display under the Totem Poles.

How to Access a Deceased Loved One’s Online Accounts

Thanks. ;D

Appears real-time coverage in Great Britain is much sparser than here in the USA, but it is there. (Missing FAA data.) Also possible to view in-progress flights across the Atlantic as well.

The end of support means the end of updates–even security updates. When an exploit is found after that date,
too bad; it will not get patched. Gradually, Windows XP will become less and less secure. More information here
