Interference Avast with printer Brother and FlashPlayer

Bonjour.
Depuis quelques jours je reçois un message de Microsoft me disant “Adobe Flash Player Update Service
11 6 r 602 a cessé de fonctionner et a été arrêté” et conseille de retéécharger FlashPlayer.
Mais Flashplayer demande , pour se télécharger :" Pour continuer, fermer le programme suivant :
brccmctl"
En cherchant sur Google des informations sur ce brccmctl, je tombe sur “answers.microsoft.com
qui me dit “c’est un programme de Brother qui interfère avec flash player”. J’ai effectivement une imprimante de marque Brother. Je téléphone à Brother qui m’indique que ce problème vient de AVAST dont une récente mise à jour crée ce problème. En effet, j’ai une imprimante de marque Brother et j’ai ce problème depuis aux alentours du 22 juin 2013. Je n’arrive pas à joindre AVAST dont le téléphone est toujours sur un répondeur qui distille un message incomprehensible.
Qui pourra m’aider car ce problème m’a supprimé des liens avec certains sites avec lesquels je n’avais auparavent aucun problème de connexion

Il s’agit d’un problème d’incompatibilité de lecteur flash.
n’est pas liée à avast.
C’est le cas finaliser le processus brccmctl dans le Gestionnaire des tâches de Windows

Merci pour cette réponse. Je suis allée dans Gestionnaire des tâches et ai bien trouvé brccmctl, mais je ne comprends pas ce que veut dire “finaliser” Qu"est ce que je dois faire après avoir sélectionné ce brrccmctl ?

You can write in English. I understand english but have more difficulties to write it.
I am going to see again with Brother whether their printer and its link with my browser are really involved in this difficulty and whether this printer can work without this bbrccmctl
Its seems to me that Brother should not be involved : I use this printer since two years at least and have never had any trouble with it. My present difficulty has taken place around 22 of June 2013 !!! and Avast proceeds very frequently to updates, and certainly around 22 of June.
What do you think of that ?

  1. Click Start => Control Panel => Hardware and Sound => Devices Manager.

2.Select View => Show Hidden devices.

3.Click Printers. Right-click your Brother machine and select Update Driver Software

5.Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer and click Next

8.Specify the directory you decompressed the downloaded file and the INF file “brprxxxx.inf”. Click Open.

10.Confirm the Printers name is Brother xxxxx Printer or Brother xxxxx series, and click Next.

The installation of Brother original printer driver is complete. Click Close.

Many many thanks fo this long mail and for the long work it represents.
I have followed your informations , but only up to the stage 6 . I could not go further because I received a message telling “BrotherDCP195C: Printer installé . Le logiciel de ce peripherique a été correctement installé”
After this, the printer goes OK for its functions printer and copier , but not for its function Scan. I shall to morrow call Brother to see with them how to repair Scan.
But I have still my problem for loading Adobe Flash Player and for the links with the web site with which I am working…although I have no problem with Internet Explorer

step 1

Open the ControlCenter by clicking Windows/Iniciar-> (All) Programs → Brother-> XXX-XXXX (Where XXX-XXXXé the model of your device) → ControlCenterx.

The ControlCenter application will open and be on the taskbar next to the clock. (Appears as a blue square.)

Step 1-2: Use the Scan to File feature using the ControlCenter

Place the document to be scanned on the scanner glass or in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) depending on the model of your equipment.

Open the ControlCenter following the instructions in Step 1.

Make Double-click on the ControlCenter icon located in the taskbar to open the program.

In the Scan menu, click File.

The document will be scanned and saved to a specified location in PDF format, according to the settings in the Software Button tab of the configuration window of the ControlCenter Scan to File.

Step 2-2: Use the Scan to File feature using the Scan key on your Brother machine

Make sure that the ControlCenter has run and loaded the taskbar next to the system clock.

Place the document to be scanned on the scanner glass or Automatic Feeder (ADF), depending on the model of your Brother machine.

Press the Scan key on the Brother machine and select Scan to PC → File, or Scan to File.

Press OK.

Press Mono Start or Colour Start to start scanning. The document will be scanned and saved to a specified location in PDF format, according to the settings in the Device Button tab of the configuration window of the ControlCenter Scan to File.
