Intermittantly Auto Starting On Phone Bootup

Hi,

I’ve recently installed the latest version of Avast on a new android mobile I
have purchased running 4.2.2 Jellybean. The problem is each time I start
my phone up it is hit and miss as to whether the antivirus starts automatically
or I have to start the app manually. I have tried every option I can think of and
I have it set with the default icon.

I have downloaded All-In-One Toolbox app and it say the Avast is set to run at startup ??? ???

I would appreciate any clue as to what I can try to rectify this as I think the
app is great otherwise.

It starts all right. You just have to enable the notification icon in Settings.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion but I already have the default icon set and it is also setup to
protect playstore with a pin code so I can tell when it has not started automatically because
I can access the store without entering a pin also if i download an app it does not scan it
unless I start the app manually.
