Intermittent avbugreport.exe with high cpu usage.

Hello,

Recently my avast has been causing some very irritating problem. Sometimes without warning, a process called avbugreport.exe will suddenly pop up and causes a very heavy slowdown. I have 32 gb ram, i7-4,7k series and even with all my browsers running whilst playing game, I have never experience such a slowdown. Regardless of whether I’m playing games or watching youtube, whenever avbugreport pops up, my PC will stutter extremely until the process terminates itself. So if I’m doing sth, and my pc suddenly stutters out of no reason, I know it’s definetly caused by avbugreport and luckily I have print screened several screenshots as proofs.

I have no idea how to disable this irritating bugreport permanently. The process just pop ups randomly and then it’s gone. It’s not listed under services in task manager either. The other day I was playing a moba game and lost a teamfight because of this stupid process. Anyway does anyone know how to troubleshoot this? I registered on this forum just to post this.

I am running avast 17.2.2288 with build version 17.1.3394.46.

Screenshots of the running process. Thank you for your time.
