Are you trying to login from the avastUI ?
If you are try logging in directly via your browser to the my.avast.com account location.

Personally I prefer this method as the layout is better in my browser than the restricted size of the avastUI window.

I don’t know how you can get the internal server error if as you also say “I cannot start avast.”

We as questions to gather information on how to best help, without it we are blind.

I really need help too. I’ve purchased a licence but I just get internal server error when ever I enter the activation code into the avast internet security software.

So i’ve paid for the product and its not working!!

I cant even see how to start a new topic on these forums!!

I’ve sent emails to avast but no reply. I even tried getting a second licence and that doesn’t work either as I get the same internal server error. Really angry now.

I just tried to insert a license file to see it that would work. so I download from avast portal and get ANOTHER error message saying “Unable to insert the license file. The signature is invalid. The licence file is corrupted or modified”.

How can that be?? I just got it from Avast 1 minute before trying to use it!
