Hi folks

My computer (Windows XP SP2) has recently been the victim of the aforementioned virus, and no matter what I do I can’t get rid of it! Avast! Free didn’t block it, and running a system scan at start up doesn’t pick it up. It seems to be very clever as the process I’ve found for removing it (e.g. http://www.myantispyware.com/2010/12/09/how-to-remove-internet-antivirus-2011-uninstall-instructions/#more-5801) is not working, as as soon as I try to run a virus scan or even Process Explorer or HijackThis, the virus terminates the program, and makes it inaccessible.

The “Safe Mode with Networking” process doesn’t work either, as again any virus scanners are shut down immendiately!

I have also tried to manually remove items such as the DLLs and Regkeys listed, but still no luck!

Can anyone help me with this?

have you tried removing with Malwarebytes ?

Yes unfortunately the virus terminates the scan a couple of seconds in, and then I can’t open the Malwarebytes program after that!

Hitman Pro in Force Breach Mode http://hitmanpro.wordpress.com/2010/03/16/hitman-pro-in-force-breach-mode/

then if success try running Malwarebytes again

In the end I tried this fix and it worked a treat! Hopefully this helps out some others who fall victim to this virus as I spent so long trying to get rid of it!
