Internet blocked by avast when firefox is open on two differents sessions (XP)

I all,
Strange behaviour of Avast:
when I open Firefox on only one session under Xp sp3 : no problem , I mean I can open others applications using internet such skype, thunderbird.
If on another session I try to use internet the connexion is lost, except when i stop avast (the last free version ). I try to stop one by one every item of avast by the result was the same. Internet was back only if I stop avast.
I uninstall et resinstall whitout any success.
I install an another “antivirus” which works perfectly.

Anyone an idea ? Thanks in advance

Are you using 2 Firefox profiles when starting 2 sessions or simply opening 2 windows in Firefox? I have no problems using two profiles at the same time using the -no-remote switch.

I use 2 sessions on each one I use a firefox profile. It’s look as if AVAST blocks the connexion when Internet is use at the time in 2 sessions. More strange is that ping on external site works.

Are you using the -no-remote switch in the Firefox shortcut for the nondefault profiles? It is required when running multiple profiles at the same time.

I don’t the problem is firefox , because i have the same behaviour with IE8.
Any other clue ?
