My connection sometimes seems slow when connecting over VPN.
Are there any settings I should change on my device(s)?
I’m using a MacBook Pro and iPhone 6S.
Every VPN service, depending of how much the server is far away from you, will slow down a bit your connection speed.
Choose a server near from you and see if it helps.
Which server/country are you facing this “issue”?
