Which is your favorite internet download manager Why do you like it and how much does it increase your downloading speed? :slight_smile:

I use Orbit myself, enough for my needs and i really like that it integrates well into all of my browsers(IE, FF and Opera). As for speed increase, i really wouldn’t know since i am on a pretty decent boradband connection and it usually goes really fast unless the download servers are really slow that is.

My suggestion is Gigaget.
After 2 years of constant use, it’s still my favorite.

I have been using Star Downloader for ages and never found a need to look elsewhere. However, with FF3.0 I often just use the default download function in that.

Hai I downloaded gigaget downloader but I can’t integrate it with firefox 3 can you please tell me how can I do it? :slight_smile:

I won’t even test Gigaget if it is not integrated into Firefox… Hope Bob can drop a line here…

You can integrate Gigaget into FF3 via the FlashGot addon FlashGot Homepage Same guy that develops NoScript

This isn’t free but when I tried it on my computer it didn’t expire even after a month I We can continue downloading with it even if it get’s expired :slight_smile:

The avast Trials are usually of 60 days, so if you haven’t exceeded that then you can continue to download updates.

I tried gigaget and whenever I download anything with gigaget from filehippo.com it abandons the connection with filehippo and downloads from other sites are the sites from which it is downloading safe :slight_smile:

I use Orbit Downloader.
I translated it to my language.

I’ve used this download manager for over 2 years without any problems and I do a lot of downloading. :slight_smile:
