Internet Explorer 7 issue: Internet Options will not appear

Hello,

The Internet Options will not appear when I click on it. Uninstalling IE 7 does not work (another issue, some file can not be found during the uninstall) so that is not an option.

I believe the problem first occured when I opened IE 7/without add-ons.

Does anyone know of any solutions? I disabled Avast and my firewall, but that does not solve the problem.

You could try reinstalling IE7 (to the same location)and then have a look here prior to an uninstall attempt

I am unable to reinstall IE7. It gives me a message something like you already have it.

IE7/Without add-ons is a version that loads without the Google toolbar and other add-ons.

IE7 doesn't come with the Google Toolbar. it's something you have to [b]add[/b]. Hence, the name add-on. From where did you get this version of IE7 ?

Microsoft.

Gathering from the Microsoft message boards, a lot of other people are having issues with IE 7. I really liked IE 6. It looks like they tried to fix something that wasn’t broken.

Please answer this question above as IE7 does not come from MS with such add-ons. ???
