Hey,
After instalation of avast free 2014 i get the message that internet explorer 10 doesn’t react and i can’t get online whith it.
I solved it for now by deinstalation and then i managed to adjust the program and checked out the webshild.
Now everything works fine.
What can i do about it. I heard around and i’m not alone.
Its about a dutch windows 8 and a dutch explorer 10.

Any other security program that could interfere?
No not that i know off.
Its not compatible with Google search

where can i find the version number
Good to hear. Hover over the Avast icon and it gives you the numbers. Or, left click the icon and choose the ? from the left hand column. Choose “About Avast!”
last version number that works fine is
2014.9.0.2006
Since the last automatic update of internet explorer (11?) io Dec 11, 2013, IE doesn’ work anymore. When trying to download the last version of IE11, it replies that a more recent version has already been installed.
My avast version 2014.9.0.2008
What can I do?
