hello I have win 7 64 bits and after install Avast 4.8 free edition my internet connection is too much slow… and some web pages doesn’t open…
whay this is happening???

What other security software do you have installed ?
What is your firewall ?
Any examples of sites that load slowly ?
Have (or did) you another Anti-Virus installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?
i have just the windows 7 firewall…
I never had another antivirus… I made a fresh install of this windows yesterday…
some sites like www.tsf.pt, www.publico.pt, www.record.pt!!!
this is portuguese sites …
OK, the first two opened OK for me (if a little slowly as they are media intensive) using firefox and I’m on dial-up, so I can’t see why there would be much difference for you.
The third didn’t get too far, but that was because of NoScript pretty much blocking its scripts in its tracks, but once allowed this site opens relatively quickly.
All this whilst I was downloading an MBAM update in the background (which is still downloading), so for me on dial-up this was reasonable and more importantly they opened…
The problem is the inconsistency, as the usual case is all sites load or none load if it were firewall blocking or conflict.
I presume that you haven’t enabled the outbound protection in the win7 firewall ?
If you are using IE8, have you tried another browser to see if that makes any difference ?
now , everything is fine…
no more slow internet… there was a problem with my internet connection but now everything is ok
