Happy New Year Avast Team, and all beta testers!
Using AIS 5.1.864 With No problems at all!
Now it’s time to go to party 8)
PD: We should change our signatures again… hehehe ;D
Regards
updated the “free” version on my wife’s laptop from 5.0 to 5.1, process went fine except that the behavior shield doesn’t scan anything (it’s also a W7/64 system). I might do a new install from scratch there tomorrow.
Cause it was compiled/released shortly before ![]()
It will be changed in the next version, don’t worry (well, at least I hope I won’t forget :))
i think 2011 didn’t enter yet in your place…LOL
HAHAHA, nice catch! ;D ;D
it seems, igor wasn’t prepared for 1.1.11 ![]()
Bah, sure I was - Vlk didn’t want to update it yet ![]()
just to correct something, I sent a behavior shield log (the one found on C: root) to Vlk earlier yesterday, and it wasn’t relevant at all…'cause I’m seeing now that it was created on Dec 30 and not 31. Probably happened with .857, ie the problematic behavior shield build on 64 bit OS, solved after that.
I use several programs based on BASS, and I’m always getting updated files for each program.
The exclusions workaround is just not a very good solution.
Igor, Peter what are you still doing here? Is New Years Day a pub holiday in Prague ??? Shouldn’t Vlk be buying? Congratulations on getting so much work done so quickly to finish up 5.1. ![]()
Hey we’re actually quite distant from each other right now… well me and Igor only like like 1.5 miles from each other, but pk for example is currently 250 miles away I think…
Anyway, enjoy your New Year’s Eve, I think we’re done for today… ![]()
Have a good one,
Vlk
I can now confirm that after re-installing WinPatrol Free and re-starting the computer, WinPatrol is gone again…
This happened in 2 Windows vista Ultmate computers with servicepack II …rm
wonderful wonderful!!
Winpatrol is all good here but i use the plus version
Plus i would like to add that this is a great release from the Avast team and thankyou for all your hard work and effort on a day where most would be on holiday, happy new year to all and there families ![]()
Almost missed it as I was on my 2nd large glass of red wine, Hic.
Thanks for all the hard work guys, it is appreciated at this particular time when all many want to do is celebrate the New Year, now we can celebrate the new avast 5.1 ;D
I’m also using winpatrol plus on XP Pro SP3 and no problems here.
No problem on XP Pro and Windows 7 8)
