Intrusive sales pop ups

I recently renewed but I have had other add ons in the past. Can I just uninstall the programs I don’t use any more?
I am sick of all the scanning of my PC and sales pop ups to increase my subscriptions. It is so time consuming and irritating.

You don’t say what program it is that you are running.

In the paid version you should be able to restrict these.

Try this:
Avast in program ADs - These are a fact of the free version, but can be removed in paid versions of Avast - AvastUI > Menu > Settings > General - Personal Privacy and you can uncheck them, ‘Show offers for other Avast Products’ and ‘Show offers for 3rd party products’.
