I have a problem, i have avast!home edition, and my avast active scanner doesn´t go on, he reports an error: “invalid data send to AVVM”
How do I resolve this?

What operating system do you have? When exactly does the message appear - right when you start the computer, or when you try to open the On-Access Scanner control window…?
I have windows XP, it already wordek before but now…

I guess this is the message you got:
“The AVVM subsystem detected a RPC error.”
