I just bought this and received a key for it, I entered the new key and it accepted it. I rebooted went back to the settings page and I get the message that the key is invalid. Also I cannot get this to update. Any help is appreciated.

I know this may seem simple but have you checked the system date/time?
Were you using the Trial version before?
It’s strange that it accepted the key, but anyway…

Both the PDA date and time are current, and the desktop that I active sync with is current.

I have the same problem. I have buy the product 1 week ago, on Monday. Until the present time my problem is the same.

Hey guys any luck yet? Looks like cwolff and myself have stumped support. Should we just get our money back now? This topic has been around for a few weeks already. I have with my version the old problem.
After copy the avast.exe in my avast Directory, i can not update my avast version.
Wen i click the “update” Button, then avast closed the avast window.
I think, that the problem is the typ for avast.exe.
The exe file,that you mail to me, and i copy it in the avast directory, is for 2002+.
I have have the same problem(close avast), wen i install the avast version 2002+.
My OS is Windows Mobile 2003.
Fazit:
I think,my problem is same. Wen i install the version for WM 2003, than “my license key is expired”.
Your new avast.exe has not this problem with the license key, but wen i install the version from the web for 2002+, i have not a problem too with license key. But wen i select UPDATE, then avast closed(crash ?!).
What can i do ?
Also, i can not give you a file, that was works fine.

Any luck with a fix? Currently the .exe that you gave me is not having any problems with the license key. But I am experiencing the same as cwolff when I update it shuts down immediately. If there is any more information I can give to help in solving the problem I would be more than happy to assist.
Hi Scott & cwolff, new version (4.1.16) will be published on our web within one/two hours - until then you can download PocketPC 2002+ version from >>here<<. Hopefully, it’ll fix all problems with serial numbers.

Everything seems to be working fine with this release as far as the license key. I haven’t noticed any updated definitions. Is the latest still from November 9, 2005?

Why I can´t insert the key on the desktop Avast PDA Program?
I download the program (ok), make the hotsync (ok), received the key, from the PDA software (ok), and when tray insert the this key into desktop Avast PDA Program, apper this mesg " the entered license key is not valid", why not??
Now, the program is on DEMO mode.
My system is a Life Drive Palm OS 4.5.2P
What can i do?
