After weeks of AIS giving me notices of expiration, it stopped. Then it would not install. I have finally reinstalled my windows 7 ultimate and finally got AIS to install in trial mode. But it will not accept the license.avastlic as it keeps saying it is invalid. What do I need to do to get it to a registered version?
If you have purchased the product, I suggest getting in touch with the support people (support at avast dot com) and they’ll be able to assist you…

Well, contacting the company’s support folks would be nice. I get an email telling me they’ve changed the format of the license and I can request a new copy automatically but after half a dozen requests I still have yet to see a ‘new’ license show up. I can really relate to all those that have a problem with early expiration notices and the program just stopping. That is why I spent the last weekend plus reinstalling windows 7 64 Ultimate. Now the program is running well but only in trial mode. I hope someone from the company checks out their automatic license dispenser to see what the heck is going on. (((
