Invalid Password prob

Can anyone help?
I’ve just put my hard drive into another pc and all my programs are working ok except Avast - It’s not starting up and it’s asking for license key but when entered it avast says it is invalid so I re-registered and it says that one is invalid too.
System date and clock are normal and I can’t get into avast menus or anything.

are you using the updated version?

Are you using the Home or the Professional version? I suppose Home because you are Registering it… Are you using the copy & paste method from the email text to avast?

Yes to both of the above.
I ended up un-installing and re-installing Avast and it accepted license key and it’s working perfect again now.
