Invalid registration number

Hello forum,

I purchased and installed avast pro v4.7 pro in early January. My 6 year old pc is dying, so I bought a new one.

I ran setupengpro.exe on my new pc and it installed fine.
I went to put in my registration number from my old pc and I received a message that the “registration number is invalid”

Can anyone give me some ideas?

If using copy and paste, make sure that you do not have a blank space at the end.

Did you insert whole license key (which contains ‘-’ character)? Whole key is in registration mail you’ve received after purchase.
