If you download the program from a known source, you wouln’t have this problem.

The problem is that newbies and the non-thinkers have no idea what is a known source.
One source is the same as another to them.

Even this doesn’t exactly apply since the release of Win32:Induc virus…

Well its evident alright!^^

NOTE to all: A piece of advice, download softwares from safe sources^^(if u nid to check the “safety” then u’ve come to the right place^^)

Then that means Io Bit security is not good?

Try to un-install anything from IOBit and its as hard get rid of as anything from Norton (Symantec) as it leaves junk all over your hard drive.

No, not at all. You can trust in anything from IObit (at least for now).

Nothing wrong with IObit unless your careless as to where you download your software.
Read and verify before you press that download button.

IOBit Steals Malwarebytes' Intellectual Property

Malwarebytes has recently uncovered evidence that a company called IOBit based in China is stealing and incorporating our proprietary database and intellectual property into their software. We know this will sound hard to believe, because it was hard for us to believe at first too. But after an indepth investigation, we became convinced it was true. Here is how we know.

Wow… :o…i will now remove “smart defrag” from all of my computers… >:(

We noticed this a few days ago when we received a complaint that malwarebytes only removed 20 infections and then charged for the rest

For those interested here is another company that is playing on the MBAM name

During the course of our investigation, we uncovered additional evidence that IOBit may have stolen the proprietary databases of other security vendors as well. We are in the process of contacting these vendors.
I guess this is SUPERAntiSpyware and Ad-Aware..............

Wow! :o Really disturbing news. Maybe Alwill should add their software to the Avast database of fake antivirus? >:( ;D

It would be advisable to make the link to the suspect site unclickable, as in my quoted text just in case they have any other underhand tactics.

Fixed put in a code box

Is this the same, the name is written a bit different…
