Ip adress not know on my network

Hi Guys

i see on my computer its ip 192.168.0.3 and also an other ip that is 192.168.27.14. When i ping it it pings very quickly as it is my computer. I think it’s due to avast. Can you confirm this please? And what is it for?

avast? Why do you think this is avast related?
Which is your avast flavor and version?

I used some software to see the open port on my machine and i discover that avast was involved in this.

I’m on windows 7 with avast 6.01289

If you are not aware of this it should be another soft but i don’t know the one.

But is it avast who is invoking (starting) the connection?
avast WebShield works as a local proxy to scan the connections already started by other applications.
avast free is an antivirus only.

Hi,
I don’t think that, this is an issue with avast!. avast! wont be able to create an additional/alternate IP address in the computer. avast! is just an antivirus software.
