@AVScavenger255: Tell the facts, instead of making commercials for apple! This link is just for you: ExtremeTech … and there are more exploits on the internet, that address iOS. Hackers love to attack systems, where the developers claim, that it is unhackable and really secure. That is why there are dozens of exploits in the hackercommunity just for iOS! iOS is not as secure as apple tries to make it look like!
@Kent12:
Avast is not available to iOS, because Apple banned ALL Security Suites/Anti-Virus applications from their store. The reason for that was stated by apple like this(my comments): iOS is a secure system (yeah, sure!) that does not need anti-virus applications, because there is no possibility to attack the iOS system (So, why there are so many possibilites to jailbreak the phones, if they are soooo secure). Since our customers shouldn’t be confused by this applications, we decided to ban every anti-virus application (the real fact is, that it would be a disaster if any of this applications would find viruses on the iOS system). I used to have a iPhone and really liked it in the beginning. But after 2 years I switched to an Android phone and I will never switch back again. Android is dozen times better, than iOS will ever be. After the switch I realised, how trapped the iOS users are. You can do nothing on the devices, that apple doesn’t approve. On Android you can do, whatever you like to do. Thanks to applications like Avast Mobility Security and Anti-Theft you get your phone more secure, than iOS will ever be. After rooting the device you can even change the whole system in a way, that you prefer. I for myself got a Linux OS on my phone now. I can start applications, that aren’t even available on phones. And they work really good!
But, before this gets into another war between iOS and Android users, I just stop the points listing now. Avast won’t be available on iOS, because Apple doesn’t want it to!
