ipsenw16.dll

Hi.
I have this file ipsenw16.dll in c:windows\system32 that is detected by Avast everytime I try to open a browser (Ie or Firefox). It causes partial system crash and I have to reboot the system.
The strange is I can find no sign at all of it using google search.
Do you know how can I send this file to the Avast team?
Thank you

All the best to you all

Dario

upload file to: www.virustotal.com and see how many scanners find it

then send the file to virus@avast.com and keep the subject as undetected malware

@ dccampa
Assuming that you have entered the file name correctly (ipsenw16.dll), I get zero hits on a search for this file name, which is very unusual for a file in the system32 folder. I also don’t have a copy of this file in my system32 folder.

So it does (based on this limited information) seem a good detection. Since it is already detected by avast (also note true indian dccampa states it is already detected) I don’t know what you hope might be done if you do send it to avast ?

What is the malware name given by avast ?
Why can’t avast send it to the chest on detection (any error message) ?

sorry…i must have made a error i feel…as he said avast detects the files…it can even be the file is trying to access some site that is blocked by avast…i guess even that can be the case :stuck_out_tongue:

Zero google hits generally means 99% malware

+1
Or a typo ;D
