Irritating promotion when opening browser.

G’day,

A couple of days ago an Avast promotion showed up in my Google browser. Every time I use my browser two Avast pages open up with the same messages every time to promote Avast products. I’ve got everything I need, I tried to change something in setting to turn it off but there seems to be no appropriate options.

I do a lot of research so I open and close my browser all the time and this is the most irritating thing. It slows me down and quite frankly I’d rather use other software if I’m going to be harassed like this.

Does anybody know what to do to turn this irritating promotion off?

…And the verification below sucks, I’m colorblind and can’t make out the letters and the audio is not helping me either.

What’s going on at Avast, I used to love it here but now it makes me grumpy?

Avast Premier, latest version, my subscription expires in October, 64 bit no other security software installed
