Hi I’m having scan issues I think I have a virus it won’t update the definitions at all and when I try to scan it says n ot enough room to scan Could someone please tell me how I remove the virus if there is one ? It also says my licence is expired but I know it doesn’t expire untill next April .
Is the date on your PC correct?
Yes I’m certain it is it also wont let me turn on the “scan” button or any button
It also says "the trial period has ended , I payed fro a year and its been 3 months
Can someone please help with this dilemma ?
Try a repair. Control Panel>Programs and Features/Uninstall>double click “avast”>scroll to and click repair>reboot. 
Did you insert the license file?
