Is asw100m.exe a valid Avast process?

Comodo told me that Avast was trying to start the process asw100m.exe. I haven’t been able to find much info googling for it, some forums in languages that I don’t understand. :stuck_out_tongue:

So I just want to know is it an official part of Avast, otherwise it must be something bad. I’m sure it’s ok just need to make sure.

Yes, it is (and the corresponding executable should be digitally signed - you can check the signature).
