I’m having terrible trouble with Avast and Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall. I’ve tried Zonealarm also and experienced awful software conflicts. I’m scouting around and trying to find a decent new firewall - does anyone have any experience with Jetico? I don’t want to be stuck without a firewall for any length of time and fear stuff going wrong a third time…

There is no problem between avast and Sunbelt Kerio PF.
There are/where some issues with ZA, but they are explained on avast’s website

There is a problem between Sunbelt Kerio PF and Avast. I made this post the other day as I’ve been having trouble with Avast ever since installing the most recent version of the firewall, and there’s another person with the same problem who said it went away after uninstalling Kerio.
I never got ZA and Avast to work together. I kept getting system freezes and couldn’t run certain programs even with Privacy Control turned off. When I switched to Kerio everything was fine until the new update was released.
If I can’t figure out another way of doing things I’ll try Jetico. It seemed to do quite well in the reviews I’ve read.
