MBAM false positives are pretty rare…but hey, if you feel uncomfortable using it again, there is always the other program I mentioned.
Anyway, your experience is the best argument for quarantining vs. deleting. Basically put, quarantine carries all the same benefits of delete, without any possible permanent damage. And while it is quarantined, you are free to look up what the file is to see if it is important. Of course, if it is really important, you will know in short order, when your system crashes ;D But then just boot into safe mode, and you can restore whatever you moved quarantined to get operational again.
