Is it possible to close it? I don´t know how. Sometimes AvastSvc.exe block my computer and i have to reset it. Stop protection change nothing.
Don´t you think it is strange to have a program in your computer that you can´t close? Is it a new kind of a virus…?

You can disable the shields activity using the context menu of the system tray icon.
Drivers can’t be unloaded (by its nature). Services could only be stopped.
Avast isn’t a virus, it’s an antivirus, meaning a program that detects and gets rid of viruses.
