absolutely not. How could it replace Windows defender that’s already integrated in all versions of Win7. The only thing is that once MSE is installed, Win defender is automatically disabled.

come on, you’re confirming yourself what I said; it disables defender, but is not meant to replace it. Replacing it in Win7 would mean it’d be included in win7 set up and installed as default. It’s just a matter of choosing the right words Also, I read (got to find the link) MS doesn’t intend to ever integrate MSE in Windows, it will always be an optional download.
