Have you tried your friend Google, a search for Kazza lite returns just ofer 508000 hits.
It does not depend on the P2P program but in the download itself. It could be infected but avast! has a special provider waiting for it
It is the better way to fill your pc of devil-junk, believe me… ;D… you are the owner of your pc… and the only owner of your brain. Is a rare thing to find diamonds in the middle of the road.
Take care.
Kazaa Lite itself is ok. But network on which is running (FastTrack) isn’t…
It’s fluded by malware and most of music there is corrupted (skipping or not working at all). Use eMule/LimeWire instead.
My little advice is LimeWire all the way. Don’t forget to enable avast! P2P SHIELD (LimeWire specifically) and you’re good to go. Keep in mind that there is no antivirus tool that will protect you 100% from everything that “swims” in those P2P waters. Human factor is very important and if you don’t inlcude your common sense, then there is no application that will keep you 100% safe.
Good luck with P2P activity !
Cheers !
Totally agree Limewire is the best…
Hi Suszannah,
With all P2P you run certain risks. We know even the renowned BitTorrent fell pray to spyware. Use your own programs to downlaod between computers or you run certain risks on malware, and if you have not got a virus, spy- or adware, you are certainly spied upon even through your firewall. Know there were marketeers go, legit spyware is to follow and if you do not pay attention you will be spammed.
Anyway legal downloads are winning over services like Kazaa etc.

Spyware on P2P is not a problem. Hashing system rejects such stuff to be realized in the first place. But its up to you when you download some unknown stuff…
So you mean the code is always clean,

I think shareaza is far better!
And why is that if I may ask ? Just because of better looking interface ? As far as I know shareaza doesn’t support UPNP settings for your hardware firewall (or I may be wrong), so there is no chance for authomatic opening of ports needed for transfer… I can do that in Limewire without a single problem. Of course your hardware firewall box needs to have that option available, but I’m telling this in the first place because my D-Link DI-604 already have it.
A nice looking interface it may have but my own experience I get better download speeds and more search results with shareaza.
It doesnt have UPnP atm but i believe it may in the near future.

If they integrate this function into program, believe me program will become even more popular. It’s unbelievable how easy is to set up everything. Just install the program, activate UPnP function and you’re good to go. Some older firewalls won’t even let you download even if you open those ports needed for the P2P program. UPnP makes everything much easier, and many inexperienced users will be more comfortable with using Shareaza…
Cheers !
The only borow thing in LimeLire is the popup message to buy the professional version each time you load the program
Same with avast!, although you don’t get any pop-up message… but, they don’t give you all features you get in Pro version. In Limewire, you have almost everything you need.
if it’s a peer-to-peer sharing program, then it might not be safe, not talking about the software but the network. Like I used Morpheus and WinMX and after using them I had to recover my computer it deleted like my system ( the things i downloaded from it put one of my important folders in the recycle bin without it having a picture that it was full then I accidently emptied the recycle bin via . There’s some sick people out there ( hackers and virus and spyware makers ). Say what’s the official site for LimeWire?
