I have not been able to run Malwarebytes for like six months due to crazy school. My Vaio runs healthy, fast and fine, thanks to sir Essexboy. But when I ran Malwarebytes today, 200+ objected infected all in the SweetIM/Packs family, they seem to be installed sometime in May this year. But my pc has been having no sign of odd Sweet browse bar, or Sweet updater or anything like that (That’s why I was clueless until today).
So now, I have malwarebyte remove them. But the folder SweetIM was found in programs, and I still couldn’t find it to uninstall in Control Panel. Any advice will we dearly appreciated. Thank you. Stalk off to see where the hell SweetIM comes from
I did my quick research. So SweetIM is not virus or anything contagious like that, and luckily MY SweetIM wasn’t as annoying as other people’s. And yet, I can’t seem to find what the hell it really is. Could someone kindly tell me why or how I got it? (I shouldn’t be coming from the my browses for recipes and bakery right?)
Best,
Edit 30 minutes later: The SweetIM folder in my program folder is now empty!
