Is NJStar program a trojan

Hi Guy’s, my friend had installed a program called NJStar which writes and display chinese and japanese characters on her pc and she scanned her pc with avast and it didnt detect anything and she then scan her pc with superantispyware and it detect this adware.HBHelper and Browser Hijacker.Deskbar.

She also scan with Malwarebytes it detected toolbarurlsearchhook (trojan.bho). I told her to unstall the program and she told me that the program is safe to use. So I just want to ask if anyone here knows if this program has a trojan or is safe to use.

NJStar is adware. MBAM and SAS detections are correct.
