Now as Adobe Reader starts to warn about Adobe Reader isn’t it time to change for another, less overbloated and less vulnerable reader. On their own webblog Adobe Product Security Incident Response Team warns for a security vulnerablility inside Adobe Reader 9.1 en 8.1.4. This after the bug was reported here: http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/34736/info
Again it seems Javascript is at the core of the problems
I am glad to have FoxitReader,
I dumped AdobeReader several months ago in favor of Cool PDF Reader. It does almost everything one would want a pdf reader to do, is very small in size, opens very quick, and it is freeware.
