Is Software Updater working ?

Java published a new version ( 7.17 ) yesterday and my AIS 8 still showing version 7.15 as up to date and green OK >:(

I need Java for one of my programs btw so I have it deactivated for browsing.

There will obviously be some delay on newly released updates before they get into the software updater, probably through a VPS update.

Still is almost 2 days delay. I am waiting to try Software Updater. Well I will see tomorrow.

Evidently, VPS 130305-1 had the Software Updater database update included. I updated to JRE 7 U17 yesterday manually for both 32 and 64 bit installs. Until this afternoon, SoftWare Updater showed JRE 7 U15 as newest but with JRE 7 U17 installed. FWIW, Secunia was also behind the curve on the Java updates. That’s normal.

The “Click here for more info” is a nice touch.

Works fine here. It had Stopped Working during an Older Build (During the Public Beta) but worked just fine in the Public Release.
