is the Singapore node down? I am selecting Singapore but getting connected to Europe locations. why?
i tried connecting from a different ISP and the result is same. I am selecting Singapore location and the connected virtual ip is shows it is from Germany. even the ping , traceroutes and whois data suggests that it is from Germany. Can anybody shed light on what’s happening here?
I don’t have an answer, but I can confirm that selecting
Singapore actually yields a connection elsewhere.
I am physically located in Canada. If I choose Singapore
as the server, a check at iplocation.net indicates that
my virtual address is in Holland (Netherlands).

Singapore is the nearest to my location and I hope that Avast rectifies this faux pas. Avast has not updated its users that they have a downtime at this location. pls be transparent about downtime and or atleast some updates about various server locations.
I have tried to draw some Avast Team attention to your topic.
Avast VPN users can add Malaysia to that list of nodes connecting wrongly to Europe and not Malaysia nor Singapore. Neither is avast responding meaningfully with anything worthwhile. did I do a mistake by signing up for avast vpn?

when selecting malaysia and singapore nodes, avast vpn is connecting to europe nodes - czhec, netherlands or slovakia and not the intended country for several weeks now. can anybody confirm ? why does this happen and how to resolve this?
