I have a Pentium 3.2 with 2 Gigs of memory and OS is XP Pro SP2 updated. I am unable to print from a wireless network computer to my desktop printer that is wired. Could Avast 4 antivirus be preventing me from printing? I have set sharing with the printer and between the computers. I set up a printer driver on the laptop that prints to TCP/IP, but no luck printing. Another possibility is my software firewall which is Kerio. I have looked for a setting in each of these programs but not knowledgable enough to determine the problem. I have posted to a network forum but everyone is on vacation I guess, no answer to the problem. Anyone have a suggestion? TIA for your help and time.

Sounds more like a problem with the firewall. If you disable it temporarily, does it help?
You are correct it was the firewall. I had to add some rules. Thanks for the post.
Hello and welcome to the avast! user forums,
Be sure to update to the Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall if you have not done so already. You can download the Sunbelt version from the link below.
