Is there a way to auto populate the enter Avast license?

Or is there a file or script I can run to automatically pop up the enter license after installing Avast?

I’m trying to automate the process of installing Avast and stream line it as well as I possibly can without too much user interaction. Is there a way to do this?

There’s a ‘how-to’ video here:

http://www.avast.com/files/tutorials/insert_key.htm

I understand that. Thank you.

However, is there a way or script or even an .exe that generates the insert license key now as opposed to having to go and click on start Avast and then click on insert license key?

Forgive me being suspicious …

But why would you need this for avast free Home users? Surely for avast free Home users of a household of say 6 or so systems this could be managed manually.

If you need it for more than this number of users I have to wonder if you are really deploying avast in keeping with its license requirements.

It’s mainly just for family members like mom and dad.

But if I’m going to be accused of doing something illegal, I’ll defintely give the business to another antivirus company that doesn’t assume I’m doing something unethical with their software.

Thanks for the help though!

As I said, for Mom And Dad I find it hard to believe you need a script (you just need Ultra VNC and about 5 minutes of your time).

Please note that I am an avast user just like you (supporting quite a few more than Mom and Dad) I do not represent the avast team. Nevertheless, I still think that after trying another antivirus company you will be back to try avast again.

Besides Ultra VNC, you can use also LogMeIn: https://secure.logmein.com/
