Is there a way to stop Avast scanning network drives?

Hi all,

I am currently using Avast Endpoint Protection Suite Plus (ver 7.0.309).

Is it possible to stop Avast scanning network drives?

I have added my network drive paths into the File System Shield exclusions list however the network drives are still scanned and in turn Avast is stopping some applications from running over the network.

I have done a search on the forum and have read that my only solution is to turn off the Network Shield to stop Avast from scanning network drives, is this correct?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

You could exclude \* for any UNC paths in the file system shield?

Note: I’d only consider that if you run AV on the servers and are scanning the same volume real time on the server side of the equation.
