Is there a way too put web addresses into webshield url blocking?

Hi all

Is there a way too put web addresses from a list i have of bad websites into webshield url blocking?

i know that i can put them in myself but that would take all day there is to many of them from a list that i have!

what i want to know is where can i find the file that has the addresses in the URL BLOCK LIST that i have in there all ready and can i right click in this file and paste a list?
so i don’t have to do them one by one?

Shortly, not.
WebShield is not intended to block quite some pages. This is a work for a filter or firewall.
Why do you need to block such pages?

In Internet Explorer you can set “restricted” sites in the “Security” option to block web pages. Not sure how this is done or if it can be done in Fire Fox however.

Why not put them in a HOSTS file and that way they will be blocked for all browsers and users?

A second vote for use tools specifically designed for this, e.g. the HOSTS file and or your firewall.

The web shield really isn’t designed to be a bulk url blocking tool and I guess if you had lots of sites there I don’t know if that might impact in its speed if it had to constantly check a long list before actually getting on with what it is designed to do filter and scan your http port 80 traffic.
