Hello all. I just bought a new laptop the other day, barely used it, and have not downloaded anything at all really. I ran an Avast scan and found this alert. Could this be a false positive of some kind? I even ran a scan of Malwarebytes for rootkits and nothing came up. I have defraggler running at the moment as well, so I have no idea if that is causing this.
Also, I was unable to do anything with the scan. Avast just said there was an error. I’ve had some false positive alerts before in the past, I just would like to make sure this is nothing serious. I ran another Avast scan and nothing came up.

If file has been scanned before, always click rescan for a fresh result
Thanks for those handy links. I ran another full Avast scan though along with Malwarebytes, multiple times, and everything was fine. I think it may have been a false positive after all. Happens from time to time I suppose.
