Is this a false positive?

I use Sun Virtual Box, in which I’ve made a virtual hard drive with the name “Win XP.vdi”

I just ran a thorough scan and avast detected this virtual drive “Win XP.vdi” as a threat (please see attached image)
I can’t even upload it to virustotal as it is 9GB plus :stuck_out_tongue:

Please tell me is it a false positive?

it could be, or it found a virus in the virtual machine

Okay…

So does it scan the whole .vdi (virtual drive) file?

I’ll recheck it after scanning the operating system in virtual Box…
