New poster/first time posting.
A few days ago (20.8.18), I got this message below (I read it today).

I had never received a message from Avast like this, and having received a number of phishing/scam emails before I was suspicious. I duckduckgo searched (Google has too much of a monopoly/ads and tracking, so I now avoid it a lot of the time) for a similar question, but nothing came up. So I thought to inquire/post on this forum.
I 've figured now that it is probably a legit email. Having had to log in here, and reset my password, I got an email to reset it from Avast (notification@emails.avast.com), from the same looking email address as the email quoted above.
Anyway just putting this out there, so if anyone else has a similar query they might get a result, it might help them.
