Is this a sign of malware? (I'm ready to do the ComboFix scan, please read)

Thanks for the help. I did everything you told me to do with OTL. However when I did Start > Run and then copy and pasted “ComboFix /Uninstall” I clicked on “Allowed” when it asked me if I wanted to run it and apparently ComboFix uninstalled itself just by doing that.

Umm… Okay I’m not the most computer knowledgeable person… Where exactly is the Tools menu?

Lets go a different way

Go to Control Panel > Folder options > View tab
Scroll down to Hidden files and folders select do not show

Okay thanks. I went to Folder Options and then “View” and it was already set on “Do not show hidden files and folders”.
