Is this a Virus or a glitch?

The last hours when i load Google and any page after this i get this warning. The fast scan shown nothing . Is it a virus or an error?

I used CCleaner to clean all cookies and cashe. I opened Mozzila. the problem remains. What do you mean i must look in my browser settings? What to do in Mozzila? The message says that this threat tries to fool you inorder to give it your personal data or money to the intruder. How do i remove that link from Mozzila? Aways it redirekts me to that site. Ho do i remove that redirektion from Mozzila settings??

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

At the very least it is highly suspect, as the page you are intending to load is either redirecting to this url in the background.

It is not a glitch, loading Google what, given what that link might be doing could be considered suspect. So I did a Google  search for the api(.)sitename(.)sec brackets and name to prevent an alert or live link being displayed.

These are the results of that Google search on that domain url - check the AI Overview and other hits.

Now I use google for searches and other functions and I don’t see this - can you be more detailed in what it is that you are loading (browser you are using) as I can’t read the screenshot text. I use Firefox as my default browser and I don’t get this.

Have you seen my last message with the new pikture ?

I hadn’t as I would have been compiling my response when you posted it.

Looking at it now.

Given what the site is supposed to do, I manually connected to the site to draw the Alert. But I haven’t been seeing this prior to my actually visited the site. So whatever it is that is redirecting your activity (a browser setting) outside of actually visiting the site I don’t get this checking.

I have submitted it to Avast As a possible False positive for the site. But why you are getting it I honestly don’t know.

EDIT: Have you checked out the Firefox Settings > Extensions and Themes to see if there might be something there.

I used the about:config command for Firefox and then a couple other commands and final step “REFRESH FIREFOX” command that restored Firefox original settings and erased all extentions. Now i restored Google as my 1st page and opening some pages the Avast allert has not yet apear again. Lets hope that that was the solution.
