Hey i downloaded trainer for game Battlestation Midway from cheathappens. But avast detect this as Win32:Malware-gen, is it just false positive because its trainer ?

Lets say i add this trainer to exclusions and run it. Suddenly this trainer send some malware or any malicious to my PC, can avast stop it ?
