Advark a Avast evangelist has seen my Avatar on IE. As I’ve not downloaded an Avatar I find this unusual How do i cancel my membership.

I think you might have missunderstood what He was telling you, I think he was trying to be helpful by letting you know that your ava wasnt showing, as there’s a red x in the center of the box.(the same kind of helpful as in telling someone there email is being shown)
Usually when someone tries to download a ava and something goes wrong thats what happens. His IE comment was just that that is the brower he uses, while using this forum, as apposed to firefox etc. I too use IE, and I see your red x, maybe its the same for firefox users, I have no idea.
I cant speak for him obviously, but perhaps you can see what Im saying. No one in here is spying on you, rest assured. I think its just a simply missunderstanding.

Yes, no one here is spying.
People don’t usually go to the police station to pick pocket.
The only spying going on is the bots that will harvest your e-mail address,
which you have not hidden from the public in your account settings.

Apologies to Ardvark and anybody else I may have insulted on this Forum, I have since discovered that my wife unsuccessfully tried to upload a picture. As I very rarely use IE, I did not know about the red cross. Thank you Asyn for telling me to hie my email address, although I thought I had already done this.

By the way IE is used everywhere in Windows so it is best to keep it updated:
Windows Explorer uses IE as the Grapihcal User Interface (GUI)).
