The model for this new initiative is combining cloud computing, collecteve intelligence together with user groups to get a more effective malware detection and protection. Whenever the software detects a new threat, it is causing a reaction on all other Immunet Protect versions to block the threat in question, nonwithstanding what av solution Immunet Protected users use. These data will be send to the cloud, so other “communities” can benefit from it. The tool works fine next to an existing resident av solution like avast.
