I have the freedom to navigate in any site that I want and Avast have the obligation to protect me, but, it is necessary a alert for every little thing ? I activated the “Silence” mode of avast and I was in a site full of suspicious popups, and when I finished read what I wanted from that detestable site, I see that have a notification alert in Avast, 98 notification, and to remove the notification I was force to click in “OK” for each one of the 98 Avast notifications. Is this stupidity really necessary?
Avast is there to protect you and you have the freedom to go where you like, so it will alert when it finds something.
Each popup is protecting you from an individual instance, so it is protecting you. The protection is stopping you going somewhere that you could be at risk. But as you don’t attach an image of the alert window with the more details section open, that is guesswork on my part.
You also have the option to add a site to the exclusions/exceptions list, but don’t expect to be protected.
I’m not entirely sure where you are trying to close notifications ?
If it is in the History section of Notifications, they can be removed in one action (see attached image).
